Are your beds made in the UK?

Yes. Our upholstered beds are handmade to order in the UK using carefully selected materials. Each bed is produced to your chosen size, fabric, colour and storage specification.

What bed sizes do you offer?

Our beds are available in all standard UK sizes:

  • 3ft Single
  • 4ft Small Double
  • 4ft 6in Double
  • 5ft King Size
  • 6ft Super King Size

Custom sizes may also be available. Please contact us before ordering to discuss your required measurements.

Can I customise my bed?

Yes. Most of our beds can be customised with a choice of fabrics, colours, headboard heights, storage options and base styles. Available options vary between designs, so please check the individual product page or contact us for assistance.

Do you offer fabric samples?

Fabric samples may be available upon request. We recommend ordering a sample when you need to match the bed with existing furniture, flooring or décor, as colours can appear differently depending on lighting and screen settings.

Are the colours shown online accurate?

We make every effort to display our fabrics accurately. However, the colour may vary slightly due to room lighting, photography and individual screen settings. A fabric sample is the best way to check the colour and texture before placing your order.

Are your beds made to order?

Yes. Our upholstered beds are individually handmade after your order has been placed. This allows you to select the size, fabric, colour and storage configuration that suits your bedroom.

How long will my order take?

Our beds are handmade to order, so production and delivery times can vary. The estimated lead time will be shown on the product page or confirmed after your order is placed. During busy periods, customised orders may take slightly longer.

Do you deliver throughout the UK?

We deliver to most UK mainland addresses. Delivery availability and any applicable charges will be confirmed during checkout. Customers in remote locations should contact us before ordering so we can confirm coverage.

Will I be contacted before delivery?

Yes. Our delivery team or courier will normally contact you before delivery to confirm the date and provide further information. Please ensure the telephone number and email address entered with your order are correct.

Does delivery include assembly?

Assembly availability depends on the delivery service selected and your location. Where assembly is included or purchased, this will be stated during the ordering process. Packaging removal should not be assumed unless it is specifically included.

What should I check before delivery?

Please measure doorways, staircases, hallways, lifts and the intended bedroom space before ordering. Customers are responsible for ensuring that the selected bed and headboard can be safely carried into the property and assembled in the chosen room.

Can I request a lower headboard?

Yes. Many of our headboards can be produced at a reduced height. Please contact us before ordering with your required measurements. Custom headboard sizes may affect the final price and cannot usually be changed once production has started.

What storage options are available?

Depending on the bed design, available options may include:

  • No storage
  • Divan drawers
  • Side-lift ottoman storage
  • End-lift ottoman storage
  • Gas-lift metal frame storage

Please check the product options carefully, as not every storage type is available with every bed.

What is an ottoman storage bed?

An ottoman bed uses a gas-assisted lifting mechanism to raise the mattress platform and provide access to storage beneath the bed. It offers more usable storage space than traditional drawers and is ideal for bedding, clothing and other lightweight household items.

Is a mattress included?

A mattress is only included when clearly stated in the product description or selected as an additional option. If the product is listed as a bed frame only, the mattress must be purchased separately.

What mattress size do I need?

Your mattress should match the UK bed size selected. For example, a 5ft king-size bed requires a standard UK king-size mattress. Always check the product measurements before purchasing a mattress from another retailer.

Can I change my order after it has been placed?

Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to make a change. Because our beds are handmade to order, changes may not be possible once materials have been ordered or production has started. Additional costs may apply to approved changes.

Can I cancel a made-to-order bed?

Made-to-order and personalised products are produced specifically to your chosen specifications. Cancellation rights may therefore differ from those that apply to standard stock products. Please read our cancellation and returns policy before ordering and contact us immediately if you need assistance.

What happens if my order arrives damaged?

Please inspect all parts as soon as possible after delivery. If you discover damage, missing components or an incorrect item, contact us promptly with your order number and clear photographs of the affected areas and packaging. Do not assemble or continue using a damaged product unless advised to do so.

What warranty do you provide?

All beds purchased directly from RSB Furniture include a five-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty begins on the date of delivery and applies to both retail and trade customers.

It may cover manufacturing defects affecting the bed frame, base, headboard, structural joints, fixings, drawers and storage mechanisms. It does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, stains, misuse, neglect, unauthorised alterations or incorrect assembly not carried out by us or an authorised contractor.

Proof of purchase and photographs or videos of the problem will normally be required. Please read our Five-Year Warranty Policy for full terms and claim instructions.

Do you supply landlords, hotels and other trade customers?

Yes. We work with landlords, hotels, guest houses, serviced accommodation providers and other commercial customers. Trade orders may qualify for specialist pricing, custom specifications and our trade warranty. Please contact us with your requirements.

How do I care for my upholstered bed?

Vacuum the fabric gently using a soft upholstery attachment and remove dust regularly. Spillages should be blotted immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Avoid harsh cleaning products, excessive moisture and placing the bed in direct sunlight for extended periods.

Can I place an order over the phone?

Yes. Our team can help with product options, measurements and customisation before taking your order. For security, payment information should only be provided through an approved payment method.
