5-Year Warranty
1. About This Warranty
RSB Furniture is a trading name of I.M.A Furniture Trading Ltd.
All qualifying beds purchased directly from RSB Furniture by retail or trade customers are covered by this five-year limited warranty. The warranty protects against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, subject to the conditions and exclusions below.
This warranty applies throughout the United Kingdom and begins on the date the product is delivered.
2. Products Covered
The warranty applies to beds supplied directly by RSB Furniture, including the following components where they form part of the purchased bed:
- Bed frames
- Headboards and footboards
- Divan bases
- Structural joints and fixings
- Legs and supporting components
- Ottoman storage frames and lifting mechanisms
- Drawer units supplied as part of a divan base
The warranty applies to both retail customers and trade customers, including landlords, hotels, guest houses, serviced accommodation providers and HMO operators.
3. Warranty Period
The warranty lasts for five years from the date of delivery.
Proof of purchase will be required when making a claim. This may include an order confirmation, invoice, receipt, bank statement or other reasonable evidence that the product was purchased directly from us.
4. What the Warranty Covers
The warranty covers manufacturing defects that occur during normal and intended use, including:
- Structural failure caused by defective materials or workmanship
- Manufacturing defects affecting the bed frame, base, joints or fixings
- Faulty legs or supporting components
- Manufacturing defects affecting drawers or ottoman storage mechanisms
- Defective stitching or upholstery workmanship present as a result of manufacturing
- Components that were incorrectly manufactured or supplied
5. What the Warranty Does Not Cover
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Gradual softening, flattening or stretching of upholstery or fillings
- Accidental damage
- Stains, spills, burns, cuts, scratches or odours
- Fabric fading or discolouration caused by sunlight, heat or cleaning products
- Natural variations in fabric colour, texture, grain or finish
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect or failure to follow care instructions
- Damage caused by moving, dragging or incorrectly transporting the bed
- Damage caused by overloading or using the product for an unintended purpose
- Damage caused by incorrect assembly where assembly was not carried out by us or one of our authorised contractors
- Unauthorised repairs, modifications or alterations
- Problems caused by unsuitable flooring, uneven surfaces, damp, excessive moisture or environmental conditions
- Cosmetic imperfections that do not affect the safe or normal use of the product
This warranty does not cover a change of preference regarding the selected size, fabric, colour, storage option or design.

Please provide:
- Your full name and contact information
- Your order number or proof of purchase
- The delivery address
- A clear description of the problem
- Clear photographs or videos showing the affected area
- A photograph showing the complete product where reasonably possible
Please stop using the product where continued use could worsen the damage or create a safety risk.
7. Assessment of Claims
We may request further photographs, videos or information before accepting a claim.
Where reasonably necessary, we may arrange an inspection of the product. A warranty claim will be accepted when our assessment confirms that the problem was caused by a covered manufacturing defect.
Damage caused by misuse, accidental damage, normal wear and tear or another excluded cause will not qualify as a warranty defect.
8. Warranty Remedy
Where a valid warranty claim is confirmed, we will provide an appropriate remedy based on the nature, age and severity of the defect.
The remedy may include:
- Supplying replacement parts
- Repairing the affected component
- Replacing the affected component
- Replacing the product with the same or a reasonably equivalent model
- Providing a partial or full refund where repair or replacement is not appropriate
We may choose the most reasonable and proportionate warranty remedy, without limiting any statutory remedy available to a consumer.
Replacement products or components will be covered for the remainder of the original five-year warranty period.
9. Collection and Inspection Costs
Where a manufacturing defect is confirmed, we will cover the reasonable cost of an authorised inspection, repair, replacement or collection.
Where an inspection finds no manufacturing defect and the issue was caused by an excluded reason, reasonable inspection or collection charges may apply. Any charge will be explained before collection or inspection takes place.
Customers should not return products without our prior written agreement.
10. Retail and Trade Customers
The same five-year warranty period applies to both retail and trade customers.
Retail customers retain their statutory consumer rights. Trade purchases remain subject to the applicable trade contract and business terms, but the advertised five-year manufacturing-defect warranty period remains the same.
11. Statutory Rights
This warranty is provided in addition to any statutory rights available to consumers and does not replace, restrict or affect those rights.
